The British Garden Centres team has outlined our top ten picks for the show and why you should make a beeline for this thriving gardening event.

The Show Gardens

The show gardens are the main event and Gardeners World Live is loved for its inspirational line-up and is the place to see the cutting-edge garden design, marvel at planting schemes, reflect and find ideas to take home.  From traditional gardens to futuristic grow-your-own,  spaces, visitors will see from award-winning landscapers how imagination and creativity can transform your outdoor space.

APL Avenue

Designed and built by the Association of Professional Landscapers, is an area with some excellent smaller show gardens that are achievable on a smaller budget. Showcasing what incredible designers and landscapers they are in their own right; APL Avenue is the place to be for aspirational but relatable gardens at the show.

Beautiful Borders

Most urban gardens have some narrow borders to deal with, particularly those gardening in small spaces. With thousands of varying styles and planting effects making a new garden border can be an exciting process and the Beautiful Borders have 20 borders that are achievable and have stunning impact.

The marquee, sponsored by Legal & General, is home to breath-taking floral displays by the best UK nurseries and specialist growers.  Whether you love your plants with soft lines, an abundance of colour and sweet fragrances or are a fan of alpine plants and succulents, the Marquee will have something for you.

Have a question about a plant, then visit the Let’s Talk Plants where experts will be giving advice on how to look after your plants. You can also exchange plastic pots received with plants bought at the Show with sustainable alternatives from Wool Pots.
