Here at British Garden Centres we take great care and attention to ensure that the plants you buy from us are premium quality.

Our plant guarantee is applicable to all hardy plants, except those purchased from our sale area.

If you wish to return a plant to us that has failed to grow, it must...

have been watered correctly and not neglected
be returned within one year
have a valid receipt

We will then replace the plant for you or provide a credit note for you to choose something else.

 

 

Fern Living Furniture Warranty Terms and Conditions

 

Your furniture comes with a warranty which covers the product for its intended use only.

The warranty will be invalid if used in a commercial environment, if it is altered, modified or repaired by a third party. The warranty begins on the day of purchase and therefore keeping your proof of purchase is essential to establish the start date.

Claims against the warranty must be reported in writing to either the point of purchase or via our website. We will take all reasonable steps to repair, replace or refund the product. All claims are subject to scrutiny and inspection by our own product experts, Fern Living will make any decisions to repair, replace or refund the product.

All claims must be supported with:

Image of overall set to confirm identification, Images / video of fault / issue, description of fault / issue, full contact details including name, address, contact number and copy of proof of purchase.

In all cases we reserve the right to request additional images / videos in order to make a correct assessment of any claims.

Our warranty and any assistance given by Fern Living (British Garden Centres) is in addition to your statutory rights. In the event of a product line being discontinued British Garden Centres reserve the right to offer a partial refund, this will be calculated as a percentage of original value v’s amount of warranty period remaining on the product OR offer a substitute replacement if available. Any replacement provided will be for the failed item only and not the entire set of furniture.

Our warranty covers the structural framework of your furniture in addition to manufacturing or material defects. Normal wear and tear and damage occurring due to misuse, incorrect assembly or negligence are not covered under the warranty. Any damage needs to be reported within 14 days of delivery, damage caused by extreme weather, neglect or misuse is not covered under the warranty.

Glass components (mainly table tops) are toughened safety glass, designed to be outdoors - however damage can occur in severe or unexpected weather conditions which can cause the glass to shatter. This would not be covered under warranty. This can be avoided by placing furniture in a sheltered location during windy weather, never using a parasol in windy weather, or using a parasol without the pole secured into an appropriate base. Avoid placing heavy or hot items directly on the glass and never sit or stand on the glass.

Warranty periods are 12 to 24 months from date of purchase depending on product for structural defects, ALL fabrics and cushions carry a 12 month warranty only.
