Fun Activities this Christmas!

Christmas Bingo:

A great family activity for everyone to enjoy from the small children to the grandparents. Gather around and grab a sheet and see who get four in a row or a full house first.

Paper Snowflakes

A fun activity in the lead up to Christmas. All you need is Paper and scissors.

How to do it:

Step 1:

Fold your A4 piece of paper into a perfect square. Parents you might need to help here.

Always have adult supervision when using scissors.

Step 2:

Fold the paper diagonally, then in half. And parents here is where it gets a bit more complicated. Split the triangle into three sections at 30-degree angles.

For reference look at images 2-5.

Step 3:

Once the folded paper resembles and arrow, cut the end off to make a perfect triangle.

Step 4:

Here is where you get creative. Make fun cuts in the sides of the small triangle anywhere you like and when you are done open up the triangle to see your very own unique snowflake.

Paper Christmas Trees:

Decorating your own paper Christmas tree will help spark creativity whilst having Christmas fun.

All you need is:

  • Green and white paper
  • Coloured pens
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Christmas stickers
  • And any craft products you have in your house.

You can be as creative as you want and cut out a Christmas tree in any way you want and decorate as you like. This is a great activity for when the children are off on the winter holidays before Christmas Day.
