The unmistakable aroma of lemon, fantastic for bringing a citrus zing to salads, chicken or fish.

Easy to grow, impart citrus aroma to many dishes.
Sow indoors all year round for indoor crops and March to May for outdoor crops. Sow 0.5cm (1/4") deep, in small pots of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 15-20oC (60-68oC) is ideal. Seedlings usually appear in 7-14 days. Grow on in cooler, but not cold conditions. For outdoor crops, accustom plants to outside conditions (avoid frosts), before planting out 20cm (8") apart. Alternatively, plants can be grown on a light windowsill.
Sow outdoors, for ease, where they are to drop, 0.5cm (1/4") deep directly into finely prepared soil which has already been watered, Thin seedlings to 20cm (8") apart. For a continuous supply, make sowings at two to three weekly intervals.
Planting position: Full sun
For maximum flavour leaves should be added to cooked dishes at the last minute. Remove flowers to prolong picking.

In normal circumstances, we aim to deliver items marked standard delivery (smaller parcels) within 5-7 working days for orders placed before 11am Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Orders are sent via a DPD Next Day service. On the morning of the day of delivery you will receive a 1-hour delivery window via email or text.
Orders containing "pre-orders" will be despatched when the order is complete.
Pre-order delivery dates are estimated, and are therefore subject to change.
Highlands delivery is available with a surcharge calculated at checkout. Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to Northern Ireland.
If standard items are ordered with larger items marked 2 Man or Pallet Delivery, the items will be combined with that delivery method.
Please note that plants are not despatched on Fridays.

Larger items, including garden furniture, will be delivered via the appropriate courier. We offer a courier service to UK mainland addresses from Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). You will receive an email after placing your order advising which service will be used.
For products held in stock we aim to deliver within 7-10 working days of your order, providing the courier is able to contact you to arrange a suitable delivery day.
Please ensure you provide a telephone number and email address to enable our courier to contact you and avoid a delay.
If we have attempted to deliver on the pre-booked day but no one is at the delivery address, the following charges will apply:- Pallet deliveries - £50 per pallet, 2 man deliveries - £70.
For bulk compost orders, delivery will be made on pallets. Unfortunately the delivery company will be unable to remove items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them and delivery will be made to the kerbside.
Please note that your order may be delivered on a very large vehicle, up to 18T and good access will be required. If you are unsure whether a large vehicle can access your address, please contact us BEFORE placing your order.

Orders for large deliveries to offshore islands and parts of the Highlands incur a surcharge. Please contact us for further details.
