Bountiful Pink: A Bloom We Built Together
Meet Bountiful Pink, a vibrant plant that’s so much more than just pretty petals, it’s the joyful result of the Young People in Horticulture Association’s very first Launch Success Challenge. As ten young delegates from all corners of horticulture, we came together through this exciting collaboration to create something truly special. And now, we’re beyond proud to share it with you.
Our journey began in the Netherlands at Beekenkamp Plants, where we joined forces with their incredible team who were on a mission to develop a plant that blooms beautifully with a bounty of flowers. The result is Bountiful Pink, a gorgeous variety that thrives indoors and outdoors, bringing colour, life, and a little bit of magic into every space it touches.
As the project unfolded, we found ourselves stepping into a world filled with creativity, challenge, and discovery. Through expert-led masterclasses, we explored everything from brand identity and trend forecasting to social media and pitching ideas. With every step, our confidence grew as we picked up powerful tools to support our journeys in horticulture, and beyond.
But Bountiful Pink isn’t just about what grew in the greenhouse. It’s about what grew in us. This experience reminded us how important it is to support one another, to take time for ourselves, and to find joy in life’s simple moments, whether it’s a shared laugh, a quiet pause, or the deep satisfaction of watching something flourish because we nurtured it. This isn’t just a plant, Bountiful Pink is a symbol of everything we learned, shared, and celebrated. It’s a daily reminder to care for our gardens, for each other, and for ourselves.
