Simply plant your seeds, care for your sunflower, and enter your final height for a chance to win. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, it’s all about having fun and enjoying the journey.
Sunflowers are nicknamed “Sunshine Flower” but they are so much more, as they are great for bees and butterflies and attract them from afar.

Terms and Conditions
(1.0) The Competition
This competition closes on August 31st at 11:59pm BST. The competition is aimed at children to encourage them to get into gardening. The competition will run across all 80 British Garden Centre Locations around the UK with 3 overall winners.
(2.0) Eligibility
This is a children’s competition. Each entry must include authentic parent or legal guardian details. Entrants must reside in the United Kingdom. Employees of the Promoter (British Garden Centres) and their immediate families are not eligible to win.
(3.0) How to Enter
To enter submit the required information:
- Parent or legal guardian’s name
- Parent or legal guardian’s email address
- Child’s Name
- Child’s Age
- Height of the sunflower in centimetres
- Attach a photo of the sunflower
This competition closes at 11:59pm on 31st August 2026. One entry per child.
(4.0) Prize
The winner will be given a bundle of Disney and gardening goodies, perfect for the spring and summer season. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
(5.0) Winner Selection
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries using a random selector tool. The draw will take place within 10 days of the Closing Date.
(6.0) Parent/Guardian Details & Consent
Each entry must include the parent or guardian’s name and email. By entering, the parent or guardian confirms they are the child’s legal guardian and agree to these Terms.
(7.0) Notification & Fulfilment
The winner will be contacted via the parent/guardian’s email. If no response is received within 7 days, a reserve entrant may be selected.
(8.0) Publicity
Entrants agree that the Promoter (British Garden Centres) may use the child’s first name and age for the winner announcements.
(9.0) Conduct
Information submitted must be true and accurate. The Promoter (British Garden Centres) may disqualify non-compliant entries.
(10.0) Liability
The Promoter (British Garden Centres) is not responsible for lost or corrupted entries. Nothing excludes liability for negligence or personal injury.
(11.0) Data Protection
British Garden Centres is the Controller of personal data submitted. Data will be used only for administering the competition and contacting the winner.
(12.0) General
The Promoter (British Garden Centres) may amend or cancel the competition if necessary.
