Open all year round, the 5-star rated Woodthorpe Leisure Park is a well-established family run business. Woody’s is the onsite Restaurant and Bar, open all year round to the public and park guests. It is nestled away in a quiet corner of the park. The pub has been family owned for over 30 years and offers a vast array of facilities designed to serve not only the on-site residents and holiday makers but also the surrounding villages and communities. Serving a hearty classic pub menu and delicious daily specials, there is something for everyone to enjoy. With well appointed Function facilities and a stunning outdoor area with kids playground the business really does have something to offer everyone!

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced General Manager with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Can you remain calm under pressure, multitask whilst keeping a close eye on the detail?
  • Are you a problem solver, organised and committed?
  • Can you build robust relationships both with your team and your guests?
  • Are you a strong leader, one who leads from the front with a hands-on approach?
  • Can you demonstrate a sound knowledge of the food, beverage, and hospitality industry?
  • Have you lots of enthusiasm and lots of energy?
  • Do you have determination, clarity of vision and the will to succeed?
  • Are you GUEST OBSESSED?

Duties include:

  • Stock, Ordering and inventory.
  • Team recruitment and development.
  • Time management and shift planning.
  • Business analysis and financial management (Stock, Labour and Profit).
  • Events organising and promotion.
  • Implement/deliver a weekly schedule of events to drive footfall.
  • Multilateral communication. (Directors, Team, Guest, Park Residents etc)
  • Ensuring the Safety of all stakeholders.
  • Keeping the business legal and compliant.
  • Developing a culture of guest obsessed customer care and service.
  • Be responsible for your own development and time management.
