Covering strawberries, raspberries, currants and gooseberries, Mike will guide you through planting, pruning, and caring for your crops, as well as managing common pests and diseases. He’ll also explore different varieties to help you choose the best options for your garden to enjoy a delicious homegrown harvest!
Mike Abel is an experienced horticulturist and speaker based in Essex, with over 20 years’ experience lecturing in horticulture at Writtle College. He has also worked in commercial fruit and vegetable production and has a passion for sharing his knowledge.
Tickets cost £10 per person and includes refreshments.
Disabled access is available for anyone unable to use the stairs, via a platform lift.
